Zach Sloane

Zach has established himself as a trusted advisor, collaborating closely with clients to achieve their business objectives. His extensive career at TCG reflects his dedication to providing strategic financial leadership across various industries, with a strong focus on the Clinical Research Organization (CRO) sector in recent years.
In his professional career of greater than 20 years, Zach has experience in providing financial leadership, guidance, and support for his clients. Although Zach has experience in many industries, his past 10-plus years have been spent in the Clinical Research Organization industry servicing the top CROs in the world. During this time, Zach has furnished support by providing interim Business Unit CFO services, leading key data initiatives, providing guidance around investigator payments, supporting merger activities, and providing project management around key corporate strategic business initiatives with great success. During his consulting career, Zach has also led teams in operational accounting, implemented compliance reporting processes, provided SOX support, provided internal audit outsourcing services, and giving clients general financial guidance.
Prior to his tenure as a consultant, Zach spent approximately 5 years at Deloitte in the audit and assurances group with a client base in manufacturing, retail and mining industries. After that Zach spent approximately 4 years at Duke University Health System in the Corporate FP&A group. During that time Zach managed the annual Financial Health System plan and performed evaluations of capital acquisitions for the Health System.
Zach attended North Carolina State University earning both his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Masters in Accounting. He holds his CPA certificate in North Carolina.
Christine Perciaccante

Christine has extensive management accounting experience working for public and private companies in a variety of industries including Utilities, Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) and Banking. Since joining TCG, Christine has leveraged her expertise to provide invaluable consultation and guidance to financial management teams across different clients. Her career journey showcases her versatility and deep understanding of financial management.
Throughout her time as a consultant, she has been providing consultation and advice to financial management at a variety of clients primarily related to special projects, regulatory reporting oversight, and general accounting needs. Although she has experience in many industries, her past few years have been spent in the Utility industry providing rate case and other regulatory support for electric utilities in North and South Carolina.
Prior to her consulting career, she spent 13 years at Progress Energy working in various roles including leading the Rates and Regulatory team responsible for all State and Federal financial regulatory reporting filings for the electric utility. She also led the SOX Compliance team which was responsible for the SOX 302 and 404 Certification processes. In addition, her experience included general accounting, financial forecasting, and budgeting of over $1.5 Billion in operating and maintenance expenses for two utilities. Prior to her time at Progress Energy, she also spent 5 years at Wells Fargo as an Assistant Vice President providing financial management support for the Operational Services Executive Team, as well as two years with Lockheed Martin working on financial analysis for the Federal Aviation Administration.
Christine is a Certified Management Accountant and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Managment Information Systems from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY.
Carl Thompson

Over the course of his consulting career, Carl has specialized in areas such as risk and compliance consulting, audit readiness and interim financial leadership roles. Carl is proficient in navigating complex financial landscapes, driving operational efficiencies, and providing strategic financial guidance that adds substantial value to his clients.
Carl has led risk assessments for multi-billion-dollar clients, led Sarbanes-Oxley implementations for developmental stage companies, provided SOX consulting services for Fortune 500 companies, led deficiency and material weakness remediation, led due diligence and financial integration projects, and led and developed teams as an Interim Controller and Interim VP of Finance. In Carl’s interim financial leadership roles, he has significantly reduced the financial close processes, managed external audits, re-designed accounting processes to gain efficiencies and reduce costs.
Prior to his consulting career, Carl spent more than four years at Ernst & Young working on both public and private clients in the manufacturing, distribution, and financial services industries. He then joined Progress Energy where he spent 17 years working in various roles including Mergers and Acquisitions, Subsidiary Controller, and Manager of Internal Controls and Compliance. In his compliance role, Carl managed the SOX Compliance team as well as the SOX 302 and 404 Certification processes. He was also a Finance Manager for Cisco Systems in RTP prior to 2016.
Carl is a Certified Public Accountant and received his undergraduate degree (Accounting) and graduate degree (MBA) from Appalachian State University.
Tom Moore

During his years as a consultant, Tom's experience has been in providing Interim CFO and Controller services, SOX consulting services while also providing advice and support for tecnical accounting issues for his clients. These issues include implementation of new accounting standards for Measurement of Credit Losses; Lease Accounting; and Revenue Recognition. Furthermore he has provided guidance on IFRS conversions, Equity Compensation Accounting and Valuation and Purchase Accounting and Impairment Analysis.
Prior to his tenure a consultant, Tom spent his early career in the audit and assurances group of Deloitte with a client base of manufacturing, retail and financial services. Following this Tom took on roles as Chief Financial Officer of Smart Online, a software start-up to establishing the Internal Audit group at Dex One, a publishing company and then managing financial operations for the company’s online operations.
Tom attended Wake Forest University earning his Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He holds his CPA certificate in North Carolina.
Naudain Machen

Naudain is a Senior Consultant at Triangle Consulting Group. She has been a consultant for ten years and joined Triangle Consulting Group in 2021. Her consulting career has been focused on helping clients fulfill a need – whether that be assistance with SEC filings, lease accounting implementation, special projects or corporate accounting. Her clients have been in the energy, technology, retail and insurance industries. Naudain tries to “work herself out of a job” by assisting with client training, creating/improving documentation of workflows and suggesting process improvements.
Prior to becoming a consultant, Naudain had eight years of public accounting experience followed by over 20 years of industry experience. She started her career at KPMG, eventually rising to Senior Manager in the Audit Department. Naudain’s industry experience was wholly with public companies and she was responsible for SEC and management reporting, corporate accounting and public company activities such as stock repurchases, dividend payments, etc. She also assisted with merger accounting and transitions/integrations of financial records.
Naudain is a Certified Public Accountant and received her undergraduate degree (Accounting) from Virginia Tech.
Steve Schmidt

Steve is a dedicated professional with over 20 years of experience in financial leadership roles. He provides a unique blend of problem solving and organizational skills which helps him enhance finance and accounting functions to support company objectives while collaborating cross functionally.
Steve's carrer spans grater than 20 years and his background includes private manufacturing as well as multi-billion dollar life science and CRO companies. Steve’s extensive public accounting and industry background includes roles as a Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller and Controller. Steve excels in financial reporting, treasury, FP&A and controllership roles and is experienced in areas such as inventory valuation, sales & use tax, internal controls, project accounting and audit management. In addition, he has successfully led post acquisition financial integration projects, including large scale financial system implementations and GL conversions. Steve is also experienced in both building and leading high performance financial teams.
Steve holds undergraduate degrees in both Business Management and Accounting from Gordon College in Wenham, MA.
Brianna Flynn

Brianna has established herself as leader in managing finance and treasury functions, risk assessments, SOX advisory and government reporting. Brianna’s areas of expertise include financial analysis, forecasting, mergers and acquisitions, share based compensation, private equity accounting, derivatives, foreign exchange accounting, debt and investment management and accounting, as well as financial system implementations.
Brianna has over 13 years of experience supporting and managing finance and treasury functions, including her most recent position as Controller of the Treasury Accounting team for a Fortune 100 technology company. In addition, Brianna has experience leading high performance teams and managing high profile financial projects. As a consultant, Brianna has most recently provided internal audit outsourcing and SEC compliance consulting for Triangle Consulting Group.
Brianna has a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business and Finance from the University of Oklahoma.
Beth Bailey

Beth brings more than 25 years of experience in accounting and finance management and controllership positions. Beth’s experience includes roles such as Manager of Financial Accounting, Manager of Financial Reporting & Consolidations, Shared Services Controller, Director of Accounting, and Controller. Beth specializes in creating and leading high performing accounting and shared services teams to provide best-in-class deliverables while maintaining a strong controls environment and meeting necessary compliance requirements.
Beth is a Certified Public Accountant and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting) from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Roger Harding

Roger Harding is a valued accounting and FP&A specialist with extensive experience in financial modeling, cross functional project management, asset management, budgeting, forecasting, expense control and supply chain management. Roger has experience leading diverse financial teams at multi-billion-dollar companies. In these roles, Roger implemented innovations that significantly reduced repair costs and quality issues across his company resulting in over $100 million in cost savings. Roger specializes in consulting projects requiring project management, research, accounting analytics, and issue resolution for our clients.
Roger is a Certified Public Accountant and holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Accounting, Finance and Business Management from the Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University.
Brian Layh
Brian is a Senior leader with progressive experience directing business relationship management, customer success, enterprise service delivery, strategic business planning, operational excellence and leading large, complex IT system implementation projects across the Contract Research Organization (CRO), Pharma, Healthcare, Government and Education industry sectors.
Brian has led strategic initiatives for global CROs, directed implementations of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology to streamline service deliveries and performance, led global and cross functional IT migrations and has directed large global business unit (BU) comprised of 200 employees overseeing end-to-end service delivery.
Prior to his consulting career, Brian spent a decade at Syneos research in their IT and Investigator Payments groups respectively. Brian has a BS in Mass Communication from Appalachian State University.
